The current BOB AMOS BAND features Bob Amos on guitar and vocals, Sarah Amos on vocals and percussion, Skip Gray on bass and vocals, Nathan Amos on drums and vocals, and Gary Darling on mandolin. The Bob Amos Band presents an eclectic mix of original songs set in a high energy folk-rock musical framework. The intricate song arrangements, featuring soaring harmony vocals and acoustic guitar, are at times a bit reminiscent of the great folk/country-rock acts of the past such as Crosby, Stills and Nash; Gordon Lightfoot; Pure Prairie League and the Byrds. Bob writes most of the bands' material, but the concert repertoire also contains some new arrangements of classic tunes from the likes of the Byrds, Beatles and Bob Marley. Bob Amos's musical career as a solo artist and band leader has spanned the last 25 years. His first solo release, WHEREVER I GO, on HAYDEN'S FERRY RECORDS  (1999), received wide acclaim and spent 10 weeks on the GAVIN AMERICANA chart. Bob was also the founder and guiding force behind the roots oriented, contemporary bluegrass band FRONT RANGE which recorded 5 CDs for SUGAR HILL RECORDS and toured extensively throughout America and Europe.
